Hello and welcome to the TE:C Seasonal - Summer 2022! This season comes with a lot of changes, so here’s everything you need to know.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION BEFORE YOU MOVE ON

We require all participants to stay in the Enhance Discord server (discord.gg/enhance) throughout the entire course of the event(s) they signed up for, for the sake of communication. If you signed up for one event and is not in the server while the event is taking place (unless you are already eliminated from the event), we reserve the right to eliminate you from the event.
Because the tournament is hosted on the Enhance Discord server and is part of the Tetris/stacker/puzzle gaming community, please read the server rules carefully and follow server rules alongside the Discord Terms of Service (discord.com/terms), as well as the Puzzle Game Community Code of Conduct (pgcoc.info)- as a ban from either the community (as declared by a group of key community members and/or event organizers) or the Discord server will subsequently disqualify you from this tournament, as well as any and all TE:C Seasonal tournaments for the entire duration of your ban.
Aside from the rules stated above, please follow common sense and respect other members of the community, be it Seasonal staff, other participants, or anyone else. Any unreasonable action towards another community member throughout the tournament will lead to instant disqualification, and multiple infractions of said action will result in a community-wide ban.

Format

For the first time ever, TE:C Seasonal moves away from the usual season-long brackets. Summer 2022 will be hosted as 13 different events throughout the season’s weekends, with four categories (Triathlon, Zone Battle, Score Attack, Classic Score Attack) spread across three time zone (Asia-Pacific, EMEA and Americas), ensuring that everyone can have some fun in the summer (or winter, if you’re from the southern hemisphere)!

Bracket type

As with previous seasons, we went for a system of tiered double-elimination brackets. This means you will be split into one of three groups (or tiers) based on your skill level, and in your tier, you will have to try not to lose twice to stay in the event.
